MAC Ruby Woo Review and Swatches

Hello gorgeous ladies!

I finally got the very famous MAC Ruby Woo and I am so excited! I'm on a budget so I bought the little M.A.C edition for $10 from Macy's. I actually bought two other shades, Russian Red and Chili which I will also be reviewing soon.

M.A.C claims it as a long-wearing formula with intense color payoff, VERY MATTE vivid blue red lipstick. I completely agree! This is probably the most versatile red lipstick I have ever discovered so far. It's neither too cool nor too warm. It suits any skin tones, no matter how fair or dark you are, M.A.C Ruby Woo will look great on you IMO. I also love the vanilla fragrance to it. :)

FORMULA AND PIGMENTATION

It is very matte and highly pigmented. If your lips tend to dry, I suggest exfoliating it first then applying a lip balm and wait for your lips to absorb the moisture before applying it. I did that and it kept my lips hydrated wearing it for 8 hours. Since it is also highly pigmented, it covers all the pigments on the lips which I love.

STAYING POWER

This red lipstick has an amazing staying power. It stayed on my lips for 8 hours! Will probably stay longer if I'm not going to remove it before I go to sleep. It did not bleed at all after meals. The intensity fades a little but it is not bad. Here is how it looks after 8 hours:

MY EXPERIENCE AND RECOMMENDATION

M.A.C Ruby Woo is the perfect red lipstick! It looks good on any skin tones and is perfect for a classic sophisticated look. When wearing this lipstick, I suggest keeping the rest of your make-up minimal and let Ruby Woo stand out!

I would give it a 5/5!
